As a veterinarian, Kiki studies animals in different environments and different contexts. She studies if and how we can use domestic or wild animals to detect mosquito-borne viruses as an early warning approach. She does so by performing field studies, mathematical modelling, questionnaire studies, and communication towards owners and veterinarians.
